The Portfolio of Martin Schneider

This illustration is currently displayed in the Arp Museum Bonn as part of the Youth Art Award Bonn. Because Dadaism was born 100 years ago, all artworks in the exhibition had to be related to the art movement from 1916! My caricature is called "Sinnfreier geht nicht" (impossible to be more meaningless). I hope you like it!

At the end of the year I always like to look back at my illustrations of the past year. It's super exciting to see what I've learned. It makes me want to see the results of the next year ;) I hope you enjoy it!

This is the process of a card I made for this year's Christmas. Using traditional techniques like copper engraving and dry-point for my illustrations is a lot of fun, because it's so different compared to the digital ones I'm normally using! In this little project I want to show you the workflow from sketch to finished print. I hope you like it!
